Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to function
flawlessly as an all-inclusive RED production machine, which is
something that is crucial when working with the RED One digital cinema camera. To get the outstanding quality achievable with this system, you must approach pre-production, shooting, and post as a single process, which must all be carefully planned with the end result in mind. Luckily, CLAi has the chops and the toys to do it!
We start before your shoot does by tailoring the camera to your exact needs, whether that means setting the correct frame rate and aspect ratio or dressing it up with all the right bells and whistles. Then we send it out with our RED certified DIT who will take care of it and navigate camera menus that no normal person would want to touch with a ten foot pole. We also provide a DIT station chocked full of RED & Final Cut software for on-location color grading and to safely transfer and backup footage. Finally we bring it back to one of our 5 Ultra-HD edit suites capable of rendering and editing 4K files at an absurd speed…with the help of our RED Rocket encoder. Whether you'd like to edit the film yourself or let us take on the challenge, we are equipped to handle the workflow with ease.
