road to follow, or one set of tools to use!

At CLAi, we understand RED. So, as clients come to us with a wide variety of projects, each with different needs, we take time to map out the best workflow path for them from start to finish, to maximize the potential each option offers. We call this our RED workflow consultancy and we are happy to provide this service as a starting point for any production, whether we finish the job or not.

This means deciding what frame rate, aspect ratio, and resolution to shoot in, selecting the right crew members specifically for the type of project, going through RED ALERT or RED CINE-X for manipulation, correction and rendering before editing, editing using either Final Cut Pro or Avid, outputting and mastering the project to meet the required deliverables at the end of the day. These are all decisions that need to be based on careful thought and consideration for every individual production!
